Our Story
Customs Brokers Association, Hyderabad is an Association of Customs Brokers licensed by the Hyderabad Customs Commissionerate and recognized by the Hon'ble Principal Commissioner of Customs, Hyderabad, The Association's long journey started with the conduct of Refresher courses in September 1991 and December 1991. The Association also hosted the Executive Committee meetings of FFFAI and later the 12th Biennial Convention of the Federation in 1993 for the first time in Hyderabad. The Convention was a grand success with the participation of more than 300 Delegates. Later in 2003, the Association hosted the FFFAI Convention at Ramoji Film City and we celebrated the Silver Jubilee in Hotel Park Hayat, Hyderabad in 2014.

T Abhimanyu
(2022 – 2024)
T Abhimanyu’s brief tenure was marked by his proactive approach to addressing issues at Air Cargo, ICD, and CFS. He continued the Association’s training programs with NACIN before stepping down due to health reasons.
Adil Khan
(2017 – 2022)
Adil Khan brought a steady and disciplined approach to the Association's leadership. He successfully organized the FFFAI Executive Committee meeting in Hyderabad and introduced a cricket tournament, fostering camaraderie among members. Despite challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic, he maintained the Association’s momentum by continuing training programs with NACIN and ensuring smooth operations.
M Nayeemuddin
(2014 – 2017)
M Nayeemuddin focused on results and strengthening member relationships. His tenure saw the publication of a Mini Handbook containing key trade information and contact details. He was an expert in gold import/export clearance.
C S Narender
(2009 – 2014)
C S Narender led with dedication and a sense of humor. He organized successful training programs with NACIN and oversaw the Association’s Silver Jubilee celebrations, which included the release of a commemorative handbook.
Ram Sarma Chunduru
(2005 – 2009)
Ram Sarma Chunduru’s tenure saw the successful hosting of the FFFAI Biennial Convention in Hyderabad. He played a crucial role in revising CHA licensing regulations in 2004 and helped establish the Federation’s office in Mumbai.
M A Mujeeb Khan
(1999 – 2005)
M A Mujeeb Khan, one of the founding members, used his legal expertise to address key trade issues. He played a vital role in the government’s notification of ICD Sanat Nagar and oversaw the successful hosting of the EC Meeting of FFFAI and the Association’s 10th anniversary celebrations.
T R Balachandran
(1998 – 1999)
T R Balachandran was instrumental in securing the Association’s membership in the Permanent Trade Facilitation Committee. A knowledgeable and soft-spoken leader, he focused on representing and protecting members' interests with Customs and other authorities.
M Rafeeq Iqbal
(1994 – 1997, 2004 – 2005)
M Rafeeq Iqbal’s leadership was marked by his dynamic and hospitable approach. He strengthened the Association’s presence by hosting successful get-together events and played a key role in organizing the 12th Biennial Convention of FFFAI. He became the first member of the Association to be elected as FFFAI Chairman.
C S Rajender
(1989 – 1994)
C S Rajender was the first President of the Association and played a key role in its early growth. Under his leadership, the Association hosted the FFFAI Biennial Convention in 1993 and conducted two successful refresher courses. He introduced get-together events that brought Customs officials and trade stakeholders together, strengthening industry relationships
